WACHE has a confession of faith to which all prospective members must agree to and sign. Please read carefully the statement below and then indicate if you agree. If you are in agreement then download the membership forms at the bottom of this page.
Confession Of Faith
We affirm these tenets of Christian theology:
- The Bible is the only verbally inspired and infallible authoritative Word of God, inerrant in the original copy (II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:20-21)
- God is one Being who eternally exists as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; all of the three are
equal in power and glory (Matthew 28:19, II Corinthians 13:14)
- Jesus Christ is fully God and man (John 1:1,14); born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18); sinless in His life (Hebrews 4:15); He died vicariously on the cross as a substitute for sinful men
(Hebrews 9:15); He rose bodily from the grave (John 20: 1 –9, 24-31; Acts 2:24); and now reigns with the Father (Acts 2:33, Hebrews 10:12); He will return visibly and personally to
the earth both in salvation and judgment (Acts 1:11, Hebrews 9:28, Matthew 24:30).
- All humans are sinful by nature (Romans 3:23, 5:12) and can only be forgiven by the expression of trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior (John 3:16). Repentance precedes forgiveness (Luke 13:3, Acts 2:38) and salvation is brought about by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life (Romans 8:1-17).
There are four things we require of our members:
1)Print and completely fill out the Membership Application Form. By signing the application you are stating that you agree with WACHE's confession of faith. Both Parents must agree to and sign the confession of faith and must be actively attending or seeking a New Testament Church.
2) Print, completely fill out, and sign the background check authorization form. (One form for each parent/guardian. )
3)Submit all forms with the Membership fee of $40.00.
4) You must complete a service requirement each year. (see the Policies & Procedures for more information on this, it can be as simple as planning one field trip and yes you will have someone to guide you and/or give you suggestions on how to do this.)
